Our Guides and Drivers
All the guides are drivers employed by Cape Town Day Tours are experienced professionals in their field. All guides are properly certified by the Dept. of Tourism and all our drivers are registered as professional drivers and carry a professional driving permit.
Warren Marks - Director
Warren began in the tourism industry in 1995. He became first a guide and later began his own day tour operation.
He is a born Capetonian and is married to Saskia. They have two sons. Warren enjoys being outdoors and going for walks. His daily mantra is 'keep walking' |
Saskia Marks - Director
Saskia hails from the Netherlands. She brings organizational strength to Cape Town Day Tours. She has a background in various businesses and the running of tours. Saskia also is a dedicated mother of their two sons.

Meet Our Guides -
Leonard Overmeyer - Cape Town has been my birth place and home for my entire life. I have lived through its changes, and enjoy its natural beauty. After spending the best part of my life in the corporate world, I decided to celebrate the fact that I live in a gem of a city. I registered as a tourist guide, and now spend my days being a brand ambassador for this beautiful city, Cape Town and the wider area of the Western Cape. My goal is that every tourist that I engage with must feel that the time and money invested in touring here is well spent.

Francois Driescher - 65 yrs. I am an accredited tour guide with 16 years’ experience and a wide knowledge of the earlier Cape History.
I take great pride in what I do, and make my guests my priority as far as participation as well as interaction and parting with my knowledge and experience is concerned. I have extensive experience working with international guests of all nationalities ranging from small to large groups. My Personal interests are - Reading, collecting Afrikana, old SA Literature and nature – specifically Fauna and Flora |
Dion Fabe - Born 1963 and grew up on Cape Town. Lived and studied in USA 🇺🇸. Degree in tourism management from NYU. 4 biological kids + adopted daughter and currently fostering little boy. Together with my wife we look after abused and abandoned kids. Tourist guide since 2004.

Charl Fourie - After starting my career in corporate banking, I decided to follow my passion for travel and become a tour guide. 18 years later, I still believe it's the best decision I ever made.
I have an absolute love for people and especially so the diverse mix that I get to meet on a daily basis. I love visiting the places that are so familiar to me and seeing them through the eyes of my guests.
I have an absolute passion for cape Town in all it's natural beauty, fauna and flora. As a descendant of the French Huguenots, I take great pleasure in sharing my knowledge of the many excellent wines available in the Western cape.

Our Vehicles:
All our vehicles are late model with luxury interiors. Air-conditioning and seat belts are standard. All vehicles have tourism permits and passenger liability insurance.
